" THE WONDERFUL TOUR "

It was on December 29, 2917 in Spotweb Computer Center, Mympro, Zamboanga City where every school heads together with their ICT teacher undergone ICT Enhancement trained by our PSDS Samoore S. Ladjahali.

Gratefully, all school heads created their own school blog, where they can post their meritorious school achievements, school reports and school activities.

Hopefully, our division and regional office can view and download all our uploaded school reports and notify us regarding all needed educational school reports. So, that we can easily submit promptly.

Our thanks and gratitude to our Regional Governor Mujib S. Hataman and DepED-ARMM Sec. John A. Magno for our MOOE with the amount of Php 52, 500.00 (7,500 per month) downloaded last November 24, 2017.

Baynat Comes to Light

My predecessor is now the Public Schools District Supervisor of our district, Indanan South District. He is Sir Samoore S. Ladjahali. He turned-over Pasil Elementary School to me on July 16, 2012. He was just done with his teachers naming the school publication, Baynat. The name, Baynat was critically screened by the Committee on Publication assigned by Sir Samoore. All teachers were required to submit their own title. Submitted names were more than 20 because volunteer teachers were also given chances to construct title for the school organ. There were more than 20 teachers those days. Criteria were set for the naming of school news letter disseminated to every teacher. There were three teachers designated to critically select the best title for the publication. It turned-out Baynat as the extremely-chosen by the board.

Sir Samoore also turned-over the school publication name to me before he left Pasil Elementary School. He also gave some advice how it should be continue for reality.

Year-end Party Hopes More Achievements for Next Coming Years

We celebrated year-end party before 15-day vacation in December started. It was not a replace of Christmas party we used to do before Paskuhan sa Paaralan was no longer required. We, Pasilians know very well that even celebration of mawlud is sometime prohibited by some group of learned men is Islam that was why we could not intend to celebrate Christmas in school with our students.

We did it because we saw in the eyes of our students it would make the more joyful to depart for 15-day vacation in preparation for the New Year's classes back to school. Teachers looked also the same with what our learners intended. Some of the advised their students in advance what they should prepare when they would be back to their classes after New Year.

Our party was just simple without too much money involved. We're just like little kids who are fond of grouping together for interesting deed. Parents were also with us sharing together not just with a smile but with laughter. To them, party indicated happy moments only in school where everyone would find.

School Group Eating Begins in January, 2018

It has just arrived in Pasil Elementary School. It is not SBFP not SMFP because we, Pasilians are used to it.

What is SBFP? It is School-Based Feeding Program. DepED included our school in that program to mitigate the result of school nurse's report. Our pupils are still having malnourished status confirmed health and nutrition personnel based on the consolidated report of the school nurse, Hja. Shar-Husna C. Salim. It was the main purpose of the program financially supported by DepED. It was almost throughout the School Year 2017-2018 that Pasil Elementary School continued cooking in the school. Alhamdulillah, school children's parents were so committed to spend much time in the school just to cook and serve our students.

What is SMFP? It was sponsored by Prof. Albert M. Santoli, President of Asia America Initiative (AAI).  It was in a 50-50 partnership program. The difference was just in terminology and the mode of financial appropriation. It is School Mass Feeding Program.

Thus, the new cooking utensils of Pasilians have come for the School Group Eating starting January 2018.
